Goldie Floberg Center announces board appointment

ROCKTON — The Goldie B. Floberg Center recently announced the appointment of Gordon (Gary) Eggers Jr. of Rockford to the board of directors.

Eggers brings almost 40 years of health care and related leadership experience, to his appointment. He retired as president and CEO of Crusader Community Health, Rockford, in 2020. His current and previous affiliations include board of directors roles with the Golden Apple Foundation and United Way of Rock River Valley, recognition for achievements from the National Association of Community Health Centers, Illinois Primary Healthcare Association and the Paragon Award for Service to the Underserved: American Academy of Physician Assistants.

KMK Media hires communications specialist

ROCKFORD — KMK Media Group recently hired Denise Delanty as a communications specialist.

Delanty will work with clients on public relations campaigns, website content, social media strategies, media buying and event planning coordination.

Delanty has over 30 years of marketing, advertising and public relations experience working for various local organizations including the Rockford Park District, Chicago Rockford International Airport, the city of Rockford and the Rockford Register Star. Delanty graduated from Northern Illinois University with B.A. degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations.

Luminaire Financial Group to host ribbon-cutting

LOVES PARK — Luminaire Financial Group, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services LLC, will host a ribbon-cutting in regards to the launch of its new name at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Olson Swedish Heritage Park, 7901 Harlem Road.

The celebration will continue after the ribbon-cutting with ice cream treats until 5 p.m., with limited quantity. Rockford Chamber of Commerce officials will attend.
