MH issues 19 business licenses in September – The Baxter Bulletin

The City of Mountain Home issued 19 business licenses in September, according to Jeannie Anderson of the city’s Building and Inspection Department.

Some of those licenses included an assisted living/retirement home, a heating and air business, a manufacturing company, three licenses for the county’s Farmer’s Market and two licenses for food trucks.

Sycamore Springs Senior Living, located at 165 Jerry Baker Lane, is the assisted living/retirement home granted a business license last month.

A business license was granted to Wade’s Heat, Air and Electric, located at 2850 East Harrison Street. Licenses were also granted to Higher Power Electric, located at 153 County Road 59, and Cousins Manufacturing LLC, located at 1835 South College Spur. The city also granted a business license to Swann Mobile Services, a auto repair shop operating out of 1596 County Road 635.

Three retail stores were granted business licenses in September. Urban Camo Brigade Group LLC, located at 950 Highway 62 East Unit 10, was one of the retailers, and Magnolia Studio on Ninth, located at 717 South Church Street, was another. Uptown Furnishments, which deals in second-hand clothing or items, was the month’s third retail business granted a license. It is located at 714 South Church Street.

Business licenses were also granted to Heavenly Creations, a florist located 1029 South College Street, and S.A.W. Jewelry Design, located at 718 South Baker Street. 

Other businesses being licensed in September include Coin Maker LLC, a vending service located at 1034 East 1st Street and Afterglow, a tanning salon located at 619 East 9th Street. Licenses were also granted to Cathy’s Cleaning Services, located at 1201 Hallmark Circle, and Lois La Delle-Daly for a home-based business.

The three farmer’s market permits were issued to Blue’s Blasted Chips, Tastefully Simple With Bert, and David Diffy. Food truck permits were granted to Fleur de Eats Inc. and On The Hook Fish and Chips.

Total licensing revenue for September was $8,128. That includes $7,030 in alcohol tax and licenses; a total of $863 in occupation licenses; $215 in garage sale licenses; and $20 in pet licenses.
